SA greats collaborate for Time
Square’s Unison Celebration

International’s Time
Square in Menlyn Maine will launch its
state of the art Sun Arena on 4 November 2017 with a grand opening production,
the Unison
Celebration, features a star studded line up of local artists to celebrate
the diversity and depth of South Africa’s talent.
The Unison
Celebration Lira, Zonke, Lady Zamar, PJ Powers, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Sipho
Hotstix Mabusa, Jimmy Nevis, Vusi Nova, Claire Johnston, Sasha Lee Davids, Nur
Abrahams, Jeremy Oliver, Timothy Moli and Karin Zoid. There will also be choirs,
mimes, flash mobs, a lighting spectacular and more. Time Square South Africa
encourages invited guests step out in style wearing a black tie or traditional
South African attire.
Iconic
songstress, the late Miriam Makeba, with the permission of her family, will
also be inducted into the South African Hall of Fame at the show. The South
African Hall of Fame, located at Sun City’s newly upgraded entertainment and
convention centre, Sun Central, is an interactive exhibition hub where young
and old are able to celebrate the country’s most memorable achievers.
The Unison
Celebration at 19h00 on 4 November 2017 is being staged courtesy of Time Square and will
not be for profit. Only 8 500 tickets are available but they will not be
available for purchase. Instead, tickets have been allocated to enthusiastic
media partners who will share them with their audiences.
